About Naked Compound

We built the supplement research platform we wished existed when we first started buying proteins and vitamins in India. Here's why it exists, who runs it, and what we will and will not do.

The Problem We Are Solving

The Indian supplement market crossed ₹15,000 crore in 2025. Most Indian consumers make purchase decisions based on celebrity endorsements, Instagram influencer posts, or gym trainer recommendations — none of which have any obligation to be accurate. Independent, evidence-based information written specifically for Indian consumers barely exists.

We have seen the amino spiking scandal — brands inflating protein counts with cheap amino acids that cost ₹50 per kg while charging for whey protein at ₹1,200 per kg. The underdosed ashwagandha problem — 50mg supplements when the clinical dose is 600mg KSM-66. The vitamin D disaster — 400 IU supplements sold at therapeutic price points when most deficient Indians need 2,000–4,000 IU daily. These are not marketing edge cases. They are systematic failures that cost Indian consumers hundreds of crores every year.

Naked Compound was started to fix this. We do not sell supplements. We do not accept sponsored content or paid placements. We use Amazon India affiliate links for products we recommend, which is disclosed on every page. Our only revenue incentive is to send you to products actually worth buying.

Disclosures & Conflicts

Amazon Affiliate Links

Naked Compound uses Amazon India affiliate links. When you click a product link on our site and purchase, we earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This is our primary revenue model. We only include affiliate buy links for products scoring 6.5/10 or above on our methodology — we will not link to products we would not recommend.

No Sponsored Content

Brands cannot pay to appear in our reviews, guides, or protocols. We have received and declined paid placement requests. If this policy ever changes, it will be prominently disclosed at the top of every affected page — not hidden in a footer or disclaimer.

No Free Products

We do not accept free products from brands in exchange for reviews. Where we review products, they are purchased at retail prices or analyzed from publicly available formulation and lab data. Products sent unsolicited are not reviewed.

Team Supplement Use

Our team members personally use supplements — this is necessary context for our research. Where a team member has any financial relationship with a brand, they do not review that brand's products. This conflict policy is absolute.

AI-Assisted Content

We use AI tools to assist with drafting, research compilation, and editing. All content is reviewed, edited, fact-checked, and approved by the named human author before publication. Content is written to reflect our genuine research findings, not AI-generated filler. Our named authors are real people with verified credentials.
